Google Calendar: On a computer, open Google Calendar, choose “Other calendars,” then “From URL,” and paste the subscription address above.

Outlook: Choose “Add calendar,” then subscribe from the web using the subscription address above.

Important: enable iPhone alerts while subscribing

To receive the calendar’s 6:00 a.m. Eastern fast and abstinence alerts, make these choices during the subscription setup. If alerts were removed when you first subscribed, unsubscribe and add the calendar again using the steps below.

  1. Subscribe using the button above.
  2. Keep Event Alerts turned on.

  3. Open Subscription Details.
  4. Turn Remove Alerts off. You may also turn Remove Attachments off.

  5. Finish subscribing. On a fast or abstinence day, confirm that the event shows an Alert at 6:00 AM.

About the calendar

The supplied printed calendar is the authority for feast titles, Sundays, ranks, vigils, octaves, fasts, and abstinence. Handwritten annotations are not included.

New: full dated Lives of the Saints entries are included for saints and feasts that match the calendar date, transcribed from the supplied scanned edition of Lives of the Saints (compiled from Rev. Alban Butler). Reflections are omitted.

Selected historical and devotional notes are drawn only from the supplied Father Lasance Missal, The Raccolta, Pilgrim Walks in Rome, and Lives of the Saints. First Fridays and First Saturdays are also identified. Designated fast and abstinence days include a 6:00 a.m. Eastern alert.
